Mission Statement

Funding and strengthening HawaiÊ»i’s work force through relief, service, education, and opportunity

Programs We Fund

When HawaiÊ»i’s working families face large-scale need, H.E.L.P. partners with unions and community partners to organize rapid, drive-thru food distributions. These events provide essential groceries with dignity and efficiency—powered by union volunteers and coordinated logistics to get food to members quickly.

If you are in need, please contact your union to request assistance through the Hawaii State AFL-CIO's LCSP.

Through our Labor of Love projects, student service-based learning, industry panel presentations, and hands-on career pathway opportunities, we strive to connect students and educators with unions and employers.  To provide clear next steps into apprenticeships and good jobs so HawaiÊ»i’s keiki can build their future right here at home.

We provide grants for UHWO's Labor Certificate , skills training, professional development to help build knowledge for the future.

Family Support

When working families face a crisis, we offer limited financial aid so families can find stability in difficult times.
